The Trek Santa Cruz – Llanganuco circuit is considered one of the most famous hiking routes in the Cordillera Blanca, for the diversity of its flora and fauna, impressive scenic beauty, beautiful snow-capped mountains, spectacular panoramic views, and crystal clear lagoons.

Trekking Santa Cruz is one of the most popular routes in the Cordillera Blanca. its popularity because it has a spectacular view of the mountains, crystal clear lagoons. Along the way, you will have wonderful views of Artesonraju, Rinrijirca and Alpamayo.
Day 01 Huaraz (3,100 m) / Cashapampa (2,930 m) / Llamacorral (3,760 m)
Transfer from Huaraz 3,100 masl. By private transport to Cashapampa at 2,930 meters above sea level. Where the muleteer waits with his packages to transport the trekking equipment, where the trek begins through the Santa Cruz valley until reaching the Llamacorral camp at 3,760 meters above sea level. On the walk it takes around 04 to 05 hours.
Day 02. Llamacorral (3,760 m) / Taullipampa (4,250 m).
The path continues through the Santa Cruz valley, sloping from the camp 490 m. On the way we visit the Ichiccocha and Jatuncocha lagoons then we deviate to the Alpamayo viewpoint to observe Nevado Alpamayo, Nevado Quitaraju, Nevado Potaca, Nevado Aguja, Nevado Caraz, Nevado Artezonraju, Nevado Pirámide and Nevado Paria, after observing these beautiful snow-capped peaks. Continue to camp. On a walk it takes around 05 to 06 hours.
Day 03. Taullipampa (4,250 m) / Cachinanpampa (3,600 m).
This day it crosses the Punta Unión pass, at 4,750 meters above sea level. The height difference from the camp is 500 m. Where you can see the entire Santa Cruz valley and the snowfalls mentioned above. After passing a 1,150-meter drop, you descend. Through the Quebrada Huaripampa to the camp. On the walk it takes from 07 to 08 hours approx.
Day 04. Cachinanpampa (3,600 m) / Yanapaccha (4,260 m).
Continue the path through the Huaripampa ravine to Vaquería, continue the walk through the Morococha valley to the camp. On the way it takes from 05 to 06 hours approx.
Day 05. Yanapaccha (4,260 m) / Cebollapampa (3,900 m).
Pass the second pass Portachuelo de Llanganuco at 4,767 meters above sea level. Height difference from the camp 507 m. From the pass you can see a very spectacular panoramic view where you can see the Llanganuco lagoons and the most famous snow-capped mountains of the Cordillera Blanca such as Nevado Chacraraju, Nevado Pisco, Nevado Huandoys, Nevado Huascaran Norte, Nevado Huascaran Sur and Nevado Chopicallqui, after Watching these beautiful snow capped peaks descend to the camp. On the way it takes from 05 to 06 hours approx.
Day 06. Cebollapampa (3,900 m) / Laguna 69 (4,650 m).
Huaraz 3100 m. That day it is diverted to Laguna 69, which is at the foot of the Nevado Chacraraju. After the lagoon, return by the same road to Cebollapampa, where you await transportation to the city of Huaraz and the hotel.
